Growing up in Sheffield, there are a number of musical influences that have left their mark on me. The sound of bleep that got established in the city from the mid 1980s, the frantic speed garage and bassline that followed it from Sidney Street, at raves in old industrial spaces and further out in the Peak District.

Alongside two close friends, Chris and Sam, we set up a party in 2015 called Don’t Look Now. As a semi-regular event at The Harley and a number of other venues in the city, Don’t Look Now hosted DJs and musicians such as Trevino (RIP), Anthony Naples, Karen Gwyer, Jon K and Beneath over a number of years.

After moving to Liverpool for university, I became friends with Andrew, Rich and Harry, residents at the ongoing Abandon Silence party. Alongside a regular bar residency at Buyers Club, I became a sporadic resident for AS and joined the crew for parties with Omar S, Move D, Willow, Palms Trax and more. I’ve managed to blag a DJ slot at Gottwood Festival, Farr Festival and Baltic Weekender in the past.
